Where does one race in Mario Kart Wii to unlock Expert Staff Ghosts?

In normal time trial mode one doesn’t unlock any (I’ve beaten the unlock times on 8 tracks; (GameFAQs)).
And in Ghost Mode on the Mario Kart Channel, you are forced to play certain tracks, and it’s the same tracks over and over.
And yes, on Ghost Mode on the MK channel, you do unlock Expert Staff Ghosts when you beat the unlock times.
