How do you properly uninstall the Wii Homebrew Channel?

I want to know how to uninstall the Wii Homebrew Channel without bricking the Wii.

Okay! click the Wii logo on the lower left hand side of the screen, then hit the right button, then left, then click the channel you want deleted and hit erase… it’ll delete. if you want it back then you can get it for free on the wii shop channel

Well, as with everything, no one can 100% guarantee that the wii won’t brick, realistically though, the odds you’ll brick your wii by uninstalling something is millions to one. The other answer is mostly correct, you can just go into the “wii’s” Data Management and delete the channel on your own.
However, the other answer also says you can buy the homebrew channel from the wii shop channel, which is disastrously incorrect.
Frankly, I don’t know why you’d want to remove it, but more power to ya.
