of late, i have been hearing a lot about unlocking wii. can someone guide me to a good site that will help me to unlock my wii?

    Unlocking wii is real easy and simple, i used homebrew installer to safely unlock my wii. Information that you will elsewhere will leave you frustrated and you would void the warranty for your wii.

    Check Afterdawn.com, they’ll have a lot of info, as well as tutorials. Go to the forums and search, but be sure to really search for the tutorials, before asking, if there are already several threads on the topic, they get a little annoyed at times…

    Definition of unlocking a wii: The term used by scammers trying to sell you homebrew stuff, which is ILLEGAL since homebrew is suppose to be free.

    Also on a side note, these scammers also try to get you to download ISOs of wii games. This is part of piracy, which is AGAIN ILLEGAL.

    Like some people have stated: It’s illegal. I tried something similar and I regret doing that. And I removed that unofficial Channel. I prefer to be a true fan of Nintendo and not have any of my systems modified.

    Hey

    A lot of people have unlocked their wii to release the full potential of it. Like watching movies and tv shows on it also to play backed up games on the wii. If you have kids you know what they are like they scratch your original games and leave you with a dud disk.

    It is NOT illegal for starters :)
    If you are in the UK, check out www. xltrading. co.uk as they can do this for you.

    If not, you would need to softmod your WII using the Twilight Hack method.
